Rowancroft
Opened in September 2009, the new residence consists of five houses (Francis, Radford, Davies, Garden and Rowancroft Studios).
Rowancroft is located on the Heavitree Road, close to the St Luke’s campus and a 40 minute walk to the Streatham campus. The site is conveniently located to the shopping area in Heavitree and major bus routes through the city.
Accommodation for 187 students living in 29 flats, arranged in clusters of between 5 and 8 en-suite bedrooms with a communal kitchen area in each flat. The development also includes 32 studios, mainly let to postgraduate students. Each studio provides an open-plan living space and includes a double bed, workspace, en-suite shower and small kitchenette/diner.

Due to the nature of the site at Rowancroft, undergraduates and postgraduates live in close proximity. A number of en-suite rooms are reserved for Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry students studying Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. For these students only, the contract period is 43 weeks starting on Sunday 20th September.
