Neighbourhood Action Plans and Neighbourhood Newsletters
The Medina Plan sets out our aims for 2009 – 2014. We want to create vibrant neighbourhoods where people choose to live and work. Each neighbourhood is different and will need different work to make it successful.
To help us plan this work, we inspected our ten largest neighbourhoods using our Decent Neighbourhood Standards. These inspections helped us to create draft Neighbourhood Action Plans (NAPs) – the work we would do over the next 12 months to make these neighbourhoods better. In August 2009 we published three different Neighbourhood Action Plans all with the same first page. To view the Plan for your area, please click on the links in the box (right).
In June 2010 we published a series of special neighbourhood newsletters - one issue for each neighbourhood that has a Neighbourhood Action Plan, and one covering all the other neighbourhoods ("Targeted Neighbourhoods"). For neightbourhoods with a NAP, these newsletters provide an update on the work we are doing in that neighbourhood. All the newsletters give information about exciting new opportunities for residents to get involved in decision making at Medina; the new standards that tenants of social landlords across England now share; and forthcoming neighbourhood events.

If your neighbourhood is not listed, this means that it has not been inspected yet. However we still want to hear your views about what matters to you – please e-mail enquiries@medinahousing.co.uk
