Resident Associations at Western Challenge
Residents Associations are groups of tenants and residents who are concerned with the interests of their estates. Examples of how Resident Associations working with Western Challenge can make a difference in their neighbourhood are:
- making the case for improvements to the local environment
- estate tidy ups
- fun days
- supporting youth football teams
- helping to tackle anti-social behaviour
Resident Association can also be an effective method of lobbying local councillors and other agencies such as the police on issues that go beyond the neighbourhood services delivered by Western Challenge
- local transport
- education and schools
- health
- local policing
If you want to make a difference and set up a Resident Association, Western Challenge will provide help, advice and support with funding, and will work with you to create a group in your area.
