Gift-Aid Profits Boost Care and Support

Tracey Peters, Chair of Signpost Care Partnerships accepts gift-aid cheque Signpost Services has gift-aided £80,000 of its annual profit to Signpost Care Partnerships to boost care and support services to residents.
For 10 years Signpost Services has positioned itself as a community investment business. Its purpose is to provide excellent repairs and maintenance services for social housing residents; whilst aiming for secure employment opportunities for local construction workers and their families.
Signpost Services’ social payback does not stop there. The Company seeks to pass on profits directly back into social housing. The extra money gift-aided to Signpost Care Partnerships comes at a time when Government spending is under review.
Clive Jones, Chairman of Signpost Services says,” We are delighted to be able to positively contribute extra social value in this way as SSL aims to re-cycle its contracting profits into social housing and community investment.”
All remaining Company profits are retained within the business and are reinvested into further service improvements for its customers. This is helped by the fact that Signpost Services is registered as Friendly Society and therefore does not experience financial leakage through shareholder dividends.
Tracey Peters, Chairman of Signpost Care Partnerships added, “We are absolutely delighted by the decision of Signpost Services to gift-aid £80,000. This contribution will make such a difference to our residents and we owe our thanks to the staff and management of Signpost Services for their achievement.”
